A healthcare client is seeking to hire a Jira Developer to integrate their internal and third-party systems' APIs as the organization does an enterprise wide Jira implementation. Currently, their project delivery teams are using several different tools for their development, ITSM, operational workflows and project management processes. Candidate must have strong MySQL administration expertise to manage databases across production, staging, and development environments with a focus on performance, reliability, and secure operations.
Rate Range: $58/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Database Administrator job responsibilities include:
• Managing MySQL databases across production, staging, and development environments to ensure stability and optimal performance.
• Handling installation, configuration, upgrades, monitoring, and day‑to‑day database administration tasks.
• Optimizing slow queries, tuning indexes and memory, and collaborating with teams to support schema and query improvements.
• Overseeing replication setups, high‑availability configurations, backup and recovery processes, and failover readiness.
