CSS Tool Crib / Inside Sales

Position Summary: CSS Tool Crib / Inside Sales on-site personnel play a key role for the Company in this position, since they are a direct point-of-contact of the Company in the customer accounts to which assigned. As such, personnel must have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, including management, and must always present themselves in a friendly, courteous manner with a high level of professionalism, while providing support and exceptional service to the customers. Primary Responsibilities: · Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse/tool crib/vending area at all times · Enter customer orders into Prophet 21 in an accurate and timely manner · Assist in the resolution of discrepancies found in orders, transfers and/or inventory levels · Responsible for opening and receiving packages daily · Ensure that customer orders are filled correctly and inventory is put into vending machines and/or proper bin locations · Assist in the delivery of customer orders, ensuring that proper signatures are obtained and paperwork is filed correctly, if applicable at your location · Must fulfill customer orders correctly to ensure accurate inventory levels · Must expedite orders in a timely manner, and provide follow-up to customer as necessary · Ensure that any transfer, repair, customer or vendor return is properly packaged and shipped daily · Must respond to all customer and Company requests in a professional and timely manner · Confirm all shipping papers as per work instructions · Assist in cycle counting inventory as per work instructions · Ensure that walk-in customers are dealt with in a professional and timely manner · Must work safely while in the customer’s facility and must follow all customer rules and regulations Position Requirements: · High School diploma or GED required · Experience in distribution and/or warehousing/tool crib/vending preferred · Excellent organization skills with attention to detail and a high focus on accuracy · Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with customers, suppliers, business associates, and Company personnel · Must be able to work independently, in a team driven environment · Must have the ability to understand and react to customer needs with a sense of urgency · Must be customer service focused and demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times · Must have an overall computer proficiency and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and be able to navigate multiple computer windows at a time · Must pass all drug and security screenings to obtain clearance and badging privileges to enter customer’s facilities, and must maintain this clearance. · Must be able to travel daily between customer locations, with one location being 1-1/2 hours away one to two days a week.
