The ideal candidate is a musician or lover of music with a deep understanding and curiosity about experimental music practices and artistic creation. In concert with the mission of the Ensemble and the Artistic Director, the MCM leads communications efforts to help support the creation of new works by living composers from diverse backgrounds and broad stylistic approaches. This position supports the digital presence of the Ensemble by way of managing website updates, social media planning and posting, leading process around monthly eBlasts, and gathering/creating general marketing graphics as it relates to publicity, web marketing, and more.This is a part-time, hourly position that involves nights and weekends based on the schedule of event activity, including rehearsals, performances, and meetings.
