Documentation of test score must be submitted. JOB SUMMARY: This position involves paraprofessional work that requires the teacher assistant to assist the classroom teacher in providing individualized instruction to students whose first language is not English. The assistant performs a variety of tasks and helps carry out instruction as directed by the classroom teacher. The assistant performs work at the direction of the teacher, building administrator, and appropriate supervisor of English Learner (EL) instruction.
