Title: Marketing & Communications Manager Reports To: Executive Director (ED) Status: Hourly, Part-time, Non-ExemptApplication Deadline: April 30, 2026Anticipated Start Date: As soon as practicablePOSITION SUMMARY The International Contemporary Ensemble seeks a Marketing & Communications Manager (MCM) to join the team to implement the Ensemble’s marketing and external communications strategies in support of its mission. The MCM leads the collaborative creation of digital content, online presence, and coordination with presenting partners and venues to promote and expand the Ensemble’s visibility and reach. The ideal candidate is a musician or lover of music with a deep understanding and curiosity about experimental music practices and artistic creation. In concert with the mission of the Ensemble and the Artistic Director, the MCM leads communications efforts to help support the creation of new works by living composers from diverse backgrounds and broad stylistic approaches. This position supports the digital presence of the Ensemble by way of managing website updates, social media planning and posting, leading process around monthly eBlasts, and gathering/creating general marketing graphics as it relates to publicity, web marketing, and more.This is a part-time, hourly position that involves nights and weekends based on the schedule of event activity, including rehearsals, performances, and meetings. Please note that our primary office is located in Downtown Brooklyn and we are currently working as a hybrid in-person/remote staff. REPORTING STRUCTURE This part-time position reports to the Executive Director. The organization values collaboration, and this position will be expected to work collaboratively across all departments to ensure that projects are executed according to their vision, and with attention to detail and quality.
