About the Role
KL&A is an IT consulting firm that knocks the socks off our clients. We work closely with organizations across the United States to develop creative business solutions through project & program management and custom software applications so they can focus on what's most important…their mission.
We are honored to be named a Top Workplace by the Detroit Free Press for eightconsecutive years! Here at KL&A, we love what we do and believe that our employees are our greatest asset which is why we search for the best and brightest (and perhaps the most caffeinated) of the bunch.
KL&A is a remote-first company, providing employees with the flexibility to choose their ideal work environment. Staff in Michigan have the option to work from our welcoming office space, from the comfort of their homes, or a combination of the two. For employees outside of Michigan, remote work is the default, and we enthusiastically welcome applicants from across the country to join our team.
No matter where you're located, you'll have the tools and support to thrive in your preferred setting—whether it's a home office, a cozy couch, or anywhere else that inspires productivity.
Who You Are:
Like a mad scientist (in a good way) in the lab of all things Atlassian, you love experimenting with new approaches and methodologies to push boundaries that bring teams together. You thrive in an environment where your versatility can shine. You can juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, and you don't sweat the small stuff.
Going with the flow comes very naturally for you, but it doesn't stop your curiosity and desire to bring teams together using Atlassian tools. You enjoy building relationships and becoming a trusted business partner to your clients, finding joy in developing and implementing solutions that make their lives easier. You've mastered the art of teamwork, but flourish as a solo artist when the work demands it.
Being a part of something new doesn't scare you, rather its ambiguity motivates you to learn and grow. You prioritize professional development, viewing each challenge as an opportunity to broaden your skills and advance your career.
About the Role:
As the Atlassian Administrator, you'll be a part of building a growing practice within the KL&A organization that partners with both internal and external clients. Day-to-day, you'll live and breathe Atlassian: implementing, configuring, and customizing instances of Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence and other Atlassian applications based on client needs. Fueled by a passion for bringing teams together, you will collaborate with your fellow teammates to design, plan, and execute the implementations of recommended solutions.
You'll both swarm on existing client engagements, as well as leading your own. You'll support your KL&A colleagues with a variety of tasks, from fulfilling maintenance requests to building something brand new. As someone who is eager to learn, you will prioritize building and maintaining your knowledge on the Atlassian ecosystem, whether through certifications, trainings, or self-guided learning.
