Jira Implementation Consultant- remote

Title: Jira Implementation Consultant Location : Remote Target Start Date : asap Type: Contract Jira Implementation Consultant We are seeking an experienced Jira Implementation Consultant to assist with our transition from Azure DevOps and other work tracking tools to a consolidated Jira environment. The ideal candidate will lead the setup, configuration, and migration efforts, ensuring best practices and standardized reporting across engineering teams. Responsibilities: • Implement a new Jira Software instance following SDLC best practices. • Migrate work tracking data from Azure DevOps, ClickUp, and other sources into Jira. • Standardize Jira workflows, boards (Scrum and Kanban), and reporting across multiple engineering teams. • Support the consolidation of multiple backlogs and project structures into unified Jira projects. • Collaborate with product managers and engineering leads to ensure seamless team reorganization within Jira. • Provide Jira administration and support as needed during and after implementation. Requirements: • Proven experience implementing Jira Software (not Jira Service Management) in complex environments. • Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). • Experience with data migration from Azure DevOps or similar tools to Jira. • Ability to design standardized workflows and reporting dashboards. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
