Apply via Dice today! • *Role: MSBI Developer • *Location: Washington, DC • *Duration: Long Term • *Job Description An MSBI Developer is responsible for building, enhancing, and supporting Business Intelligence solutions using Microsoft BI technologies, with a strong focus on SSIS and Microsoft Fabric. The role involves data integration, data modeling, and delivering reliable analytics solutions for business users. • *Key Responsibilities** Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS and Microsoft Fabric Data Factory Integrate data from multiple sources into data warehouses and lake houses Build and manage Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse solutions Develop datasets and reports using Power BI within Fabric Optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and data models Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability of BI solutions Provide production support and resolve data-related issues Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather reporting requirements • *Required Skills** Strong experience with SQL Server Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS and SSAS Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse) Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (facts, dimensions, star schema) Experience with Power BI and basic DAX Knowledge of ETL, data validation, and performance tuning
