Senior Power BI Developer Location: Alexandria, VA (Hybrid – Onsite Mon–Thurs, Remote Fridays) Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) Compensation: Salary is open and commensurate with experience Overview We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to design and deliver impactful dashboards and reporting solutions that support financial and operational decision-making. This role focuses on transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights. Key Responsibilities • Gather and analyze business requirements; translate into reporting solutions • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports • Build and optimize data models using DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL • Integrate data from enterprise systems (ERP, HR, payroll, data warehouse) • Implement advanced visual features (drilldowns, filters, parameters) • Manage Power BI Service (datasets, refresh schedules, security/RLS) • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and performance optimization Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in a related field • 5+ years of Power BI development experience • Strong skills in Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL • Experience with enterprise data environments (finance, HR, or operations) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Nice to Have • Experience with large ERP systems or cloud data platforms
