Our Java Developer opportunity requires experience with object-oriented software design and development using java. Experience and knowledge with software and system level debugging, software execution, scripting languages, DevOps and code modification. This role supports a mission critical development and sustainment for design, build and delivery of network operations to include cyber capabilities. Additionally, providing technical expertise to develop advanced cloud-orientated automation. Your key responsibilities You'll spend most of your time working with your client(s) to deliver the latest technologies and practices to design, build and maintain scalable and robust solutions that unify, enrich, and analyze data from multiple sources. Skills and attributes for success Leverage the current design concept and architecture and, with agreement from stakeholders, recommend changes that contribute to the quality and maintainability of the applications Define all design concepts and architectures in a software design document The design shall include modeling a solution for each requirement, evaluating it against the original requirements, and transforming it into data and software architecture Provide a capacity plan for the applications to ensure application availability and responsiveness Provide infrastructure recommendations for the applications and assistance in maintaining data integrity Comply with coding standards to develop software modules that implement the detailed design Leverage enterprise services to the greatest extent possible when performing system development and system enhancements. Experience with Java and J2EE technologies Experience with PL/SQL and Oracle Database technology Experience with SOA in particular REST and Microservices Experience with JBoss and other J2EE Application Servers is a plus Experience or familiar with Tomcat v9 Experience with Spring framework, as well as Hibernate Experience with JavaScript and front-end development Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience on projects utilizing continuous delivery and deployment methodologies a plus Effective management skills To qualify for the role, you must have MUST have a TS/SCI Full-Scop
