Our client is seeking a JIRA Admin in Orlando, FL
Role Description
• Govern and configure JIRA projects, workflows, and custom fields to support project requirements
• Provide user support and training for JIRA users, including troubleshooting issues and capturing and updating user guides
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to gather requirements and enhance JIRA functionality
• Develop and maintain documentation for JIRA processes, workflows, and user guides.
• Monitor JIRA usage and generate reports to provide insights into project progress,team performance, and usage governance
• Stay up to date with JIRA updates and new features to continually improve the platform
• Own Jira administration, configuration, and ongoing governance for YMP
• Develop and maintain executive delivery dashboards and reporting
• Deliver AI-leveraged reporting insights on delivery health, risks, and dependencies
• Support planning,tracking, and coordination ofthe MyJira cloud migration
• Coach teams on standard ways of working and Jira consistency
• Improve delivery transparency, predictability, and data quality across the program
Skills & Requirements
• Proven experience as a JIRA Administrator and extensive usage as a Project Manager using JIRA or similar role
• Able to compose JQL queries to pull data from multiple JIRA projects
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles
• Proficient in JIRA software, including configuration and administration on Server and Cloud versions
• Proficient in Confluence software, including site and page administration, user group access control
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with JIRA plugins and integrations
• Advanced Jira administration, configuration, and governance
• Advanced level experience building and maintaining executive level dashboards and delivery reporting
• AI Agentics development
• AI Tools (Cursor, Amazon Q, Claude)
• Ability to translate delivery data into decision-ready insights
• Experience supporting complex technical initiatives, including cloud migrations
• Capability to develop and leverage AI enabled analytics, reporting and insights
• Strong collaboration, coaching, and cross-team coordination skills
