Strategic Analysis, Inc. (SA) is currently accepting applications for the position of Microsoft Office Specialist, assigned to Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). DARPA BTO identifies and pursues high-risk, high-payoff research initiatives across a broad spectrum of science and engineering disciplines and transforms them into important, new game-changing technologies for U.S. national security. BTO is helping the Department of Defense expand technology-driven capabilities to detect novel threats and protect U.S. force readiness, deploy physiological interventions to maintain operational advantage, support warfighter readiness, and focus on operational biotechnology for mission success. BTO relies on the greater scientific research community to help identify and explore ideas that could potentially revolutionize the state-of-the-art.*This position is contingent/based on award and anticipated start date would be June 2026As a Microsoft Office Specialist, you will:Responsibilities: Assist the office with research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs which may include database maintenance and dashboard creation for multiple programs.Requirements: 1. Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in research, design, and development of computer andnetwork software or specialized utility programs which may include database maintenance withinan application area.2. Demonstrated skill in conceiving, planning and conducting research in problem areas ofconsiderable scope and complexity requiring unconventional or novel approaches andsophisticated research techniques.3. Experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting and notableexperience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g., agile,DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting.4. Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Office 365 Apps, to include Microsoft Teams, SharePoint,OneDrive. Power BI, Tableu, Python also required.5. Three (3) years working in an research and development environment preferred.Education:Bachelor's degree required.Microsoft Office Specialist: Expert (Microsoft 365 Apps) certification preferred.Clearance:• Current DoD Secret Clearance (ability to get TS).
